Postpartum Doulas

Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing offers temporary postpartum doula placements. Doulas work anywhere from one day to three months or more. The role of a postpartum doula is to help new mothers transition through the postpartum period, as well as to nurture the entire family following the birth of a new baby. The duties a postpartum doula performs will vary from day to day, depending on the needs of the family. Postpartum doulas also provide hands-on education on newborn and mother care. Doulas work during the day or overnight.

Agency Fees:

• Annual Membership Fee: $250
• Daily placement Fee: $25 per day OR $450 per month (whichever is less)
  

Doula Wages:

• $25-$28/hour daytime, $28-$30/hour nights. (four hour minimum per day, eight hour minimum per night)
  • The family is considered the doula's employer in this situation, just like with temporary nannies. You are not required to pay employer taxes unless you pay the doula more than $1,600 in one year. If you choose to claim the temporary doula, please request the social security number at the time of service from the doula. Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing does not provide social security numbers.
    

Night Nannies

Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing offers temporary night nanny placements. Night nannies can work anywhere from one day to three months or more. The role of the night nanny is to take care of all the newborn’s needs at night while the parents get much needed rest

Agency Fees:

• Annual Membership Fee: $250
• Daily placement Fee: $25 per day OR $450 per month (whichever is less)
  

Nanny Wages:

• $15-$18/hour (eight hour minimum per night)
  • Each family employs the nanny. However, the family is not required to withhold taxes from the nanny’s salary unless they pay the temporary nanny more than $1,600 per year. If the family chooses to claim the temporary nanny, they should request the social security number at the time of service from the nanny. Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing does not provide social security numbers.

Family Assistants

Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing places both temporary and long term family assistants. A Family Assistant is a nanny who works alongside a parent in the home, to help them in the care of their children and the management of the household. They provide another pair of hands to assist busy parents with creating a safe and nurturing environment for their children.
